1. Downloading and installing the necessary MediaTek drivers on your computer.
2. Downloading the specific stock ROM for the Gfive 4G Ultra Pro and the SP Flash Tool.
3. Opening the Flash Tool application and loading the "scatter" file found within the stock ROM folder.
4. Connecting the phone to the computer via USB and initiating the flashing process.

Manually flashing firmware is an advanced procedure. Incorrect steps can permanently damage your device and will erase all personal data. It is strongly recommended to back up all data before starting. 

Prerequisites

• A Windows PC.
• A stable USB data cable.
• MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers installed on your PC.
• The correct stock ROM/firmware package for the Gfive 4G Ultra Pro.
• The latest version of the SP Flash Tool (SmartPhone Flash Tool). 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Download and Extract: Download and extract both the SP Flash Tool and the Gfive 4G Ultra Pro firmware package to a folder on your computer.
2. Install Drivers: Ensure the MediaTek drivers are correctly installed. If not, the flashing tool will not detect the phone.
3. Launch the Tool: Navigate to the extracted SP Flash Tool folder and run flash_tool.exe as an administrator.
4. Load Scatter File: In the SP Flash Tool, go to the "Download" tab and click the Scatter-loading button. Browse to your firmware folder and select the Android_scatter.txt file. The tool will load all necessary image files.
5. Configure Settings: Change the mode from "Download Agent" to Firmware Upgrade. It is also a critical precaution to uncheck the preloader.bin option, as flashing the wrong preloader file can brick your device.
6. Start Flashing: Click the Download button to begin the process.
7. Connect Device: Power off your Gfive 4G Ultra Pro (ensure at least 20% battery) and connect it to your PC via a USB cable. The flashing process should start automatically. You may need to press the Volume Up or Volume Down button to help the PC detect the device.
8. Completion: The process is complete when a large green circle or "Download OK" message appears.
9. Reboot: Disconnect the phone from the PC and power it on. The first boot may take several minutes.
